Air conditioning

Does cats like air conditioning? When I'm in a cold cat generally avoids it....he usually sleeps with me but if i'm sleeping and my air is on...he doesn't. Do cats like the warmer rooms?

I'm thinking it may not be the cool air (who wouldn't like a little ac air during the hot times, cat or human?), but perhaps the noise of the ac running is upsetting.

Agreed. Mine don't like the noise. They gave suspicious looks at the HVAC vents. But they got used to it.

Every cat is different. I find that with Justice, our bedroom is the only room that has an AC in it. More times than not, you can find her in my room sleeping. I've even left the AC on and left my bedroom door open so that if she got to cold, she could go out of the room, but everytime, she remains in my room sleeping. I've shut her out of my room before while I was cleaning and when I open the door back up, shes right there at my door waiting to get back in. My daughter just got a kitten and when he's downstairs in the livingroom, he just looks so hot and miserable and mostly lays down and takes it easy, when I bring him up to my room, he perks right up and is a bouncing ball of joy.

My bedroom gets absolutely roasting in the daytime whilst the living room remains slightly cooler, yet when I get home from work both cats come trotting out from the bedroom yawning and looking all sleepy eyed! I think my definition of hot and theirs differs a great deal
