Upset belly

I did a search on here for vomiting and tho they were helpful I have a question.

My cat Fuzzy started getting sick this morning and has thrown up about 5 times today. At first it was food then he was fine for a while, then he draak water and threw that all up after a few hours.

Hewas fine yesterday and I cannot think of anything he could have gotten into that is making him sick. He is 9-11 years old.

I plan on taking him to the vet tomorrow if he doesn't get any better, but is there anything I can do for him in the meantime? and how long will it be before he dehydraites?

I hope you've found out something more to help,

I'm thinking as long as it will be within a day, that taking him into the Vet tomorrow would be acceptable limits.

Is he any better this evening?

Well we took him to the vet and they said that he wasn't dehydrated and his color was fine, but they were concerned because his temp was 99. they kept him overnight and said that if they saw anything bad in his blood work they would call us tonight but we didn't hear anything so that is good news THey arew going to give him antibiodics, and some thing for his belly and try to get his temp up, and hopefully I can bring him home tomorrow. I'll keep you updated after I find more out tomorrow.

I bet you felt better with them keeping on eye on him. Always best to take them to the vet if you are worried. Maybe he just had an upset stomach and will be fine. Good you didn't hear anything from the vet. Hope Fuzzy is fine tomorrow and back home with you ! Will check for any updates.

Fuzzy came home last night and seems to be doing well, he is nibbling on dry food and hasn't thrown up so thats a good thing!

My other cat isn't too happy that he is back tho, they don't get along all that well and he thought he had it made lol
