How many treats in enough?

i've been giving Paco Whiskas Temptations treats for a couple of weeks now. He loves this stuff and would eat the whole pouch if i let him. I was just wondering, how many of these treats is too much?

Probally the first three ingredients are going to determine how much you really want to feed.

I've tried their hairball stuff but it made my cat puke so I didn't use that anymore.

I give my girls a treat or two whenever I'm around... usually each day on weekends.

I give my cats treats about 3 times a week. I usually give them 3 or 4 treats at a time.

Yes, mine would eat them all if given the chance! Pepper has ripped open several bags of treats that were accidentally left out.

My kitty girl Holly is almost 16 years old so I pretty much give her whatever she wants. I usually give her 5 treats in the am before I head to work and another 5 in the pm after dinner. The days I'm off I give her a lttle something extra in the midle of the day. She seems none the worse for it and it makes her happy.

Definitely look at the ingredients. If it's junk food I would give sparingly. If it's healthy you could give alittle more. I would look at your cat's weight too. If that's all good I wouldn't worry as much but do remember, they are treats....like candy for us.

It is generally advised that treats be no more than 10% of your cat's diet.

I would say 2-3 treats a day. Too many is not good for them.
