I have a LITTERMAID MEGA and the cheapest place to get them is at BJ'S or TARGET. We paid 100.00 for ours. We are getting another one next week. We love it. Just make sure you get really good clumping litter. We just switched to Cat Attract as our littlest one was having litter box aversion issues. We find that all of the cats prefer this litter and it is far superior to anything we have ever used. It's no more expensive than any of the others I have used.
Good Luck!

You can try it but they recommend a VERY GOOD CLUMPING litter. You can switch over gradually or all at once. I switched to the Cat Attract all at once as we had no choice as we were trying to fugure out what was wrong with Lilly. They all acted like no change had ever been made except for Lilly, who started to use the box again.

I had a littermaid and my cats hated it. I did too because it caused more odor (the receptacle lid never shut completely) and it was more of a hassle to clean. I find it easier to maintain standard boxes, and my cats prefer a larger box than the automatics. I hope you have better luck with yours though-let us know how it goes!
