cancer

our 13-year-old maine coon kitty, Mozart, was recently diagnosed with what i believe was liver cancer (my mom didn't really give me all the details)

his belly started to look really bloated, so we took him to the vet and they drained him and did some tests, they said they found cancer cells

he has what feels like a cyst on his belly now, we thought it might have just been where they stuck the needle in to drain him, or where he got a penicillin shot, but it's not getting any better, maybe the start of a tumor?

anyway i know there probably aren't any vets here but has anyone had experience with this? is there anything we can do to help him stay comfortable?

Try to get ahold of the Vet again, it could also be an infection.

my mom spoke to the vet again today. mozart's been acting funny all day, we think he might be in pain now, and they said we may have to euthanize him within the next few days.

Really hope you can make his last days special if it has to come to that.
