Something is wrong with Star's bottom lip.

About 15 minutes ago, my daughter noticed that Star's bottom lip is swollen. It's pink, has two white spots, and very swollen. Midnight and Lucky's bottom lips are fine. This could be coincidence, but earlier in the day, while picking up bits of trash off of the living room floor, I found one of those silica gel packets that you usually find with new shoes and other things. It looked like it had been chewed up and it was ripped. Star is eating and drinking with no problems, so it doesn't appear as if he's in any pain while eating and drinking. He's also using the litterboxes with no apparent problem. However, when we touch the swollen spot, he shrinks back as if it hurts, and he scrunches up his face. If anyone has any experience with this or any advice, I'd really, really appreciate it as Star is my baby. I'm the one that Star loves on and cuddles with the most.

Thanks!

I don't know if it could be the silica packets but it could be an allergic reaction to a bee sting or spider bite. I would bring him into the vet or at least call and see what they say. Let us know how he's doing.

Well, I did call the vet and the person I spoke with said that based on my description of Star's lip, it could be a variety of things. I guess all we can do is keep on eye on it and hopefully we can bring him to the vet on Friday...if I can convince hubby. Wish me luck.
