Laryngitis

I think my 10 years old cat might have laryngitis... she's been swallowing a lot since yesterday and we noticed that her voice is almost gone... how long do i wait before taking her to the vet... is it possible that it will clear itself in a day ot two? i don't want to risk her healt but going to the vet is soo stressfull for her...

Could she have gotten into anything? I'd recommend at least calling the vet to see what they suggest.

Last night Moogy looked a little better and i took a day off from work today to be with her and give her a couple of humidity treatments (letting she shower run for 15 minutes while we are in the bathroom)... she is better today and she ate and drank many times... i will continue to keep a close eye on her and i hope she will be fine...
