where can i buy fish oil?

I've been reading some old posts to find out what to do about my cat's dandruff problem. Sounds like putting a bit of Omega-3 fish oil in her food would help a lot. I couldn't find fish oil capsules at Petco. Does anyone know where I could get them? Is it something people take as a dietary supplement as well? Is it the same? Thanks!!

I am not sure where you buy Fish Oil for kitties or if it is ok to give them a little of what humans take as supplement. My only advice when it comes to vitamis is to get ones that are all-natural, as opposed to synthetic ones. Carlson is one of the most renowned in the industry

You can buy fish oil anywhere that sells vitamin and mineral supplements. Not sure what stores you have access to but Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Longs, and any other supermarket that sells pharmacy stuff. You just have to look around. You can also try a shampoo to help the dandruff problem. This company makes excellent shampoos http://www.earthbath.com/shampoo_pints.html and the ones you would probably want are Oatmeal & Aloe Shampoo or Tea Tree Oil & Aloe Vera Shampoo. Some cats are just born with dry skin. Also dry skin can be caused by insufficent diet. Cats need good fatty acids to have healthy skin and coat. Some cats need more than others. Before adding fish oil I would look at the food your are feeding your little one and find out what kind of fatty acid it contains( http://www.naturapet.com/display.php?d= ... id='57'%5D contains info about fatty acids/ fish oil). It might be easier to change its diet than to add fish oil to their food everyday. Anyway hopes this helps.

P.S. second link you have to copy and paste. the highlighted part is not the full link, sorry its being difficult.
