Copper, my Tortoiseshell

Hi.
My 5 year old cat, Copper, is a Tortoiseshell, was rescued after being abandoned with 3 kittens by a Cat Rescue Centre. The three kittens were quickly rehomed, and I immediately fell in love with Copper. I have now had her for just over 4 years, and she has always been so loving. She is seriously daft, sometimes worryingly so, but her heart is most definately in the right place.
She is allergic to fleas, so if she ever catches them, she loses a lot of her fur, which takes months for it to grow back in, so a lot of the time she looks rather scraggy.
Anyway, here's a few pictures of her!
Her with her big dozy eyes on. Haha. :lol3:

Oooh, she's actually awake and alert. That's a change!

She LOVES her catnip sock that she got for Christmas.

And here's a poor quality film of her going crazy with her sock:

I'll upload more pics soon!

Thank you very much. I saw the pic of Sheena, and was going to comment. She does look like my cat!
Thanks again,

Ooooh, I don't have one in THAT color! I really like her black blazed face, very interesting and I've never seen it before. I've seen orange and white in the center, and half/half colored centers, but never a black blaze. Unusual.
I had a cream/blue torbie some years ago, she was a gentle love. We only had her a short time before a mysterious growth in her esophogus forced euthanasia after spending $1500.00 trying to save her. My vets were wonderful, there was just nothing they could do. I haven't had a calico since Bonnie. We do have a 'relative' (meaning a cat that came from the same place; hubby's power plant in CA) Marmalade who is going to be 11 this spring.

I really like the first pic of Copper, with her smiling face. Makes me want to hug her!
Heidi

Thank you ever do much. I never knew it was called black blaze, well I've learnt something today!
Bonnie sounds like she was a beautiful cat.
