Laptop devices

Stormy, sweetie... I was trying to read that.

But, Mom! We're your laptop devices!

Bonus: older pictures of the kitties and computers:

Misty used to lay on my keyboard tray all the time. It was handy to be able to websurf with one hand and pet the kitty with the other. For some reason she hasn't been doing it much recently.

I took this a few days after I brought the kitties home last summer. Stormy was watching a video of herself on YouTube and was totally facinated by it. She doesn't get up by the computer much but when she does she likes watching the things moving on the screen (it can be distracting when she tries to catch the cursor).

(The video she's watching and a few others are here. I wish they still jumped for Da Bird like that but they're grown-up kitties now.)

Cute pics! Charming kitties.

Great pictures - especially love the eyes in the first one!

I think Stormy wanted to be warm on that laptop and cool videos too . I wonder how cats don't get dizzy going around and around .

Actually, they can get dizzy, because I've seen it happen.

I never knew cats could get dizzy, either. What happens, Tim?

Same thing that happens when you and I get dizzy. That's how I could tell.

Sometimes I play this game with Rocket I call "spin-kitty" where I spin him around on a smooth surface like a table top. I don't spin him any more than he's willing to take (he stiffens up and grabs with his claws when he's had enough), but one day I guess I spun him a little too fast or once too often and when he got up he staggered around for just a little bit. So now I know to stop at three spins. Which is about all he's willing to take after that one time, so perhaps vertigo is an unpleasant sensation cats aren't familiar with.
