Scratch Pads and Sunbeams

The tribe loves the cardboard scratchers, both flat and incline. The only drawback is constantly having to vacuum up the tiny bits of cardboard that they tear off.

Then, you add to that the fact that the location of the scratchers is also the place where there has been a lovely sunbeam for the last hour, and you end up with a vacuum obstacle course

How sweet. The vacuuming can wait until another day.

Great picture -- kitties strewn a-kimbo. They're so cute all lying there, so content.

Yes, that is an obstacle course. If I fire up the vacuum, that'll get Coco going instantly. Wittle, unafraid of said vaccuum, will eventually move when he decides it is too close.

We don't have the scratchers, we have cat trees, sofas, real trees outside for that. What we have is messy eaters. I have to run the vaccuum frequently to get up the little bits and pieces of dried up turkey, or chicken, or ham, etc that they manage to spread everywhere. Cardboard bits or dried up food bits, there is always something isn't there?
