This one is so cute:

I have a couple videos on my account of Nito playing. All are short, if you want to take a tidbit of time to browse through them

Hehe, that was years and years ago. A random vid to get out my old camera's video capabilities.

And no! He's surprisingly strong when he gets his claws dug into the carpet... sometimes he'll pull the pole out of my hand and fall backwards cause he pulls so hard! I need to upload the video I have of that happening

Wow, he was serious about that thing, wasn't he? I've never seen a cat do that. Murphy always drops it right away so I'll fling it again.

Nito is a spunky kitty! What a cutie.

It was very startling when he first started doing it! But he's ears are almost always up and forward, so he doesn't look mad. He growls when he eats too, so maybe he thinks he's part tiger.

Sometimes I think he is part dog! He even growls when someone comes to the door!

I am almost positive that he is being playful. I have seen Nito growl in anger/annoyance- the ears go back, and the pitch of the growl is a bit more whiny. He growls when he carries anything, even if I am not pulling it on a string, so that is why I believe he isn't annoyed, it's just a weird thing he does. He'll go and dig out a Da Bird attachment and bring it to me, growling when he wants to play. I think if he was tugging out of a desire to keep the toy to himself, he wouldn't invite me to play!

EDIT: A video is uploaded at the moment on my youtube account that shows Nito's playfulness combined with tugging. You can see he's enjoying himself, and not just being annoyed. He uses his paw to hold onto his feather so he can readjust his grip for a bigger tug. At one point, he tugs so hard that I lose my grip and he almost falls over backwards! Link coming soon!

...and here it is!

Re: Frisky Vids of Nito!

LOL!!!!! Is that a fishing pole? We used to have an ice fishing pole, that hubby would cast out over the living room floor, with a cat toy on the end of it (no hook, it was tied). The cats would go absolutely bonkers, grab it, and hubby would reel 'em in. I think hubby had as much fun as the cats!

*heads off to search for said fishing pole!*

It's the top section of a cheap pole that popped off from the rest of the pole. No reel, unfortunately! I used that as my toy wand before I got Da Bird.
