BooBoo kitty. ...the oldest...

BooBoo is now our oldest kitty. He is the last of the West Coast cats and he came from Goldendale, WA. He was born sometime in early 2000 and is 9yrs old. We noticed last year, shortly after we took out the carpet and installed bamboo flooring, that he lost both of his canine teeth on his right side. We suspect he misjudged stopping distance and knocked his teeth out hitting a door/wall or furniture. (poor kitty!) His gums seemed fine when we checked them, they'd had enough time to heal before we noticed them missing, and he has no problems eating though now he tends to stick his tongue out crooked. Tonight, he was laying on my husband as he watched TV and he called me to bring the camera and take some pics of the Boobster snuggling and purring:

Too cute! I love how his eyes are closed in every pic.
I also like his bright orange color!

Re: BooBoo kitty. ...the oldest...

BooBoo is a LOVE kitty. He loves to give head-butts and purrs up a storm. He will head-butt any part of your body he can reach: head, face, neck, shoulder, body, belly, arms, legs...and I've even seen him head-butt furniture and blankets!

He loves one of our neighbors. She can call on the phone or come over to visit and I will holler "BooBoo-kitty, your girlfriend is on-the-phone/here!" and he will come running and meowing, looking for her. He will listen and meow to her if she is on the phone, and usually give the phone a head-butt. If she comes over to visit, he is on her lap and laying up her chest to give her face/chin head-butts while she pets him. He is so happy and content to snuggle with her. At first, I was a little jealous that he would do that with her every time and with us only occasionally, but then I just got over it and became glad for him that he had someone he loved so much. She has two large Labradors who would play with him like a squeaky-toy and her husband is allergic to cats, otherwise I would let her take him home because he is so happy with her.

That's our funny Boo-Ballou!
