How to properly soak up some rays

Had a fun little photo shoot this morning

First.
Locate a nice sunny spot on the floor. Since mommy wants to take pictures, make sure the floor is very dirty so you pick up all sorts of dust and hair to embarrass her. Finding a prop is especially important to keep the photo shoot interesting. The leg of a table will work well.

Now pose, and pose, and pose, and work the table leg.

Work it!

Be sure to explore all possible angles - try to find your "good side."

One must stretch out to expose as much of ones self as possible to those warm and toasty rays.

Bellies soak up the most warmth and add a little sexiness to the shoot!

Show a little too much and you might start to feel a bit ashamed though!

Peek a boo!

And finally, the deep and though provoking pose that lets them know there's more to you than just looks.

Re: How to properly soak up some rays

I loved it! And I especially loved your commentary: work it, work it!

Yesterday evening after my husband took his shower he carried his bottle of baby powder into the kitchen (because he wanted to tell me something and I was in there putting stuff in the fridge) and he put some handsfuls of the powder under his arms. Of course, the 'extra' powder dusted down and landed on the (white) kitchen floor.
A few moments go by as we are talking and he suddenly stopped talking in mid-sentence and when I looked at him, he was staring at the floor in horror! I looked to see what he was looking at, and it was black/white Squirrely-Jo...only S-Jo wasn't black/white, she was now GRAY/white!
My husband exclaimed "WHAT did she get into?!"
Well...I realized she was rolling in the baby powder dust that sifted onto the floor and said so. He was surprised she was rolling in it. And I guess I was, too. But she loved it! She would get up, sniff and then flop right back down to roll some more in it! She made sure she picked up every bit of baby powder on the floor.
Should I re-name her "Swiffer"?

Hmmmm...Now that I know the correct way to do it, I'm going to go find a sunbeam!

What a beautiful cat...sigh.
