I stumbled across this forum today and decided it was the perfect place for me to join! I have 4 beautiful cats that I love more then anything. Two females approx 4yrs old (Peanutty and Little Kitty), and two males approx. 11 months old (Doodle and Enzo). I adopted Peanutty (tortie) when I was living in Georgia by myself when she was 6 weeks old, and almost a year was found/chosen by Little Kitty (tabby), she was cold and starving and approached me with enthusiastic meows of hope so of course I scooped her up and took her home with me. Her and Peanutty became the bestest of friends.
Last year my fiance and I decided to adopt a kitty "together" and found a woman who had rescued some kittens from outside of her work that were near death from starvation. She bottle fed them and nursed them back to health and we adopted one of them at 6 weeks of age (Doodle), he is a very handsome flame point siamese mix with beautiful blue eyes. Since Doodle was the only boy and the girls weren't too fond of his wild and crazy ways we decided to balance out the bunch with another young boy his age to be Doodles best friend. So this past VDay we adopted Enzo from a rescue group that I have frequently donated to that saves a lot of special needs kitties that would have been euthanized at shelters. Enzo has no health problems, but they had him since he was a baby and all of his litter mates had been adopted out but for some reason no one had chosen him. He was a bit shy and scared so I think that is why people hadn't given him a chance. Well after a gradual intro Enzo has become a very happy party of our family and loves to romp around and play with Doodle.
The girls are happy now because Doodle spends less time harassing them and more time playing with Enzo now
Here are my babies:
Peanutty and Little Kitty
Doodle when we first got him
Doodle more grown up
Enzo at the shelter before we got him
Doodle unsure of what to think of his new friend Enzo when we brought him home
Peanutty watching from afar
Little Kitty always keeps her distance from Doodle
Little Miss Priss Kitty lol
Peanutty wants to play
Little Kitty wants to play too!!
And last but not least... in loving memory of my very special and very missed Tiger
