Re: What kind?

Riley is beautiful!!!

Unfortunately, unless a cat comes with a pedigree, there really is no way
to tell what specific "breed" they are, though some are more noticeable
(flat face, long fur, no fur, pointed) than others (like the 'blue' breeds of
Korat, Russian Blue and British Blue).
You can usually pick out some specific genetic markers, but it is very
difficult to actually pin down a breed. Riley is a DSH, which is the
common term for Domestic Short Hair, though I think her hair is a bit
longer than short, but not long enough to be long, and while I will use
DMH (medium), I don't think it is 'professionally' recognized.
She is
black-based in color, with agouti, and her tabby pattern is *I think*
Mackerel striped, or Mackerel with broken or spotted stripes.
I really love the sweet expresion on her face and her large ears.

I do love her ears also and she is just so cute! she'll tap my hand to say "Hey you, put the covers over me"

Re: What kind?

I'm sorry, but all of the other people are lying to you. There is a way to determine what kind of cat she is, but it involves direct contact. Soooooooo, please send Riley to me and I will do my examination and will send you my results in the mail. Riley will stay here in case you have any questions about my results. Oh, and if I move in the meantime don't be alarmed .
