Hungry Hungry Kitties!

Had the camera close-by when it was getting close to dinner time last night, so I figured I'd snap a few of the girls.

When they start circling me like sharks, it's getting to be about that time...

Samantha is lying down by her dish already, and Rochelle already knows to be ready in the bathroom where she eats, hehe.

"Where's the food Mommy?"

"Oh up there on the counter, huh."

I figured we could skip the actual act of eating and skip to the end...

Rochelle licking her lips after a tasty meal.

Nice full body shot of Rochelle, as resident glutton Samantha moves in to clean up her leftovers.

And Rochelle says, "I'm full, lets go do other things!"

I had fun taking these. I just love my kitties at mealtime.

How cute! We do get their undivided attention at meal time, don't we.

When it's mealtime, I don't dare take too much time presenting the food....or I get told off! Nina says MAA MAA!! Well, that's what it sounds like, anyway.

Haha, Samantha yells at me the whole time I'm getting their food together (except with her it sounds more like "NOW NOW NOW!" lol), and I think she's starting to be a bad influence on Rochelle, because now Rochelle will start in with her tiny mewlings.

My cats sit on my feet when I get their supper together for them. They are learning that as soon as I pick up the dishes, they had better move. If they don't move, then I don't move. When mom doesn't move, then the food doesn't make it down from the counter. If it doesn't make it down from the counter, then nobody gets fed. Like I said, they are learning.

Even my semi feral very scared of people Dusty will follow me at mealtime. We definitely do have their attention at mealtime!

If for some reason we're really late with their dinner Fern will sit down in front of her empty bowl and lick it a bit, then look up and glare at us.... She paces in circles and barks while I get their food ready, and I've had to teach them to sit for their food otherwise I can't get the bowls to the floor without tipping at least one over!

But at least at mealtime, they love their Mommy!

One of my childhood kitties, Reese (running free at the bridge), a giant maine coon, would take his glass bowl and bang it on the tile floor until we fed him, haha.

What pretty kitties! A select few of my cats will actually climb up me and sit on my shoulder meowing in my ear to make sure I can hear them, lol! It depends on what I'm feeding them at the time. The are spoiled and gets human food scraps, bologna is thier favorite.

My kitties get very little people food...but when they hear me open a plastic-pack of Hillshire Farms deli sliced turkey (and it has to be HFs!)...well... They. Go. Nuts. It's like catnip. Even turkey flavored cans or even real turkey (the deli meat is real, just has additives and tons of sodium...) just pale in comparison to this particular deli-meat delicacy. They get a very small piece apiece once or twice a week. Never tried bologna!
