New kitty

So I found this girl living under my deck. She was about starved so I fed her and we became fast friends. She has a great temperament...to be a stray she did wonderful at the vet. They said she was about a year old I had her vaccinated and recently spade. She was great with all of it, actually she did better than my resident cat would have, lol. She is just a good natured girl.

My question is about her breed. I know that she is most likely just a long haired kitty but I'm thinking she might have a bit of Maine Coon in her. She has such a long tail and large paws. She is also long and tall with a puffed out chest. She isn't very big but was almost starved when I found her....she has put on some weight in the last few weeks. It really doesn't matter either way...just curious as to other opinions.

Oh wow, she's a beauty. She's like a svelte version of Cheshire (my sister's cat).

Anything's possible, but it's pretty unlikely she has Maine Coone in her. Where are you located? Her tail doesn't have the huge fluffy bushiness you'd expect in a Maine Coon, I think.

I really wouldn't like to hazard any sort of guess based on that photograph alone, but she is a beautiful fluffy queen. Do you have any more photos of her from a different angle?

Thanks for the compliments. Zoey is a pretty girl just like Cheshire.

I live in Virginia. I think Zoey is one of the neighborhood strays kittens from last fall. If I am correct her mother is a fluffy girl but had a stub tail. I don't think Zoey faired very well living on her own and was ready to be adopted, in fact she adopted me I think.

This is a pic right after her spay... Her little belly was shaved otherwise she has very long hair on her underside. Not quite as long on the top
