Miss Hanna

We brought our new kitty, Hanna, home late this past week. She's super sweet. Loves to be snuggled and petted, and likes to tell you about it! She hasn't had a good chance to get to know our other pets (Red our Scottish Fold, and Sparta our lab mix), because she's being quarantined for the next two weeks. After getting her home I decided her belly HAD to have something going on, because she had awful, awful poops. Poor kiddo has campylobacter, so she's got two weeks of meds to look forward to before she gets free-roam of the house.

I keep trying to get a good picture of her to share, but she's so crazy when I go in to play and feed her that I can't get one! So this is a shot of her before we brought her home from the shelter.

She's definitely a sweet girl, but I'm seeing a bit of her sassy side, too! Can't wait to get to know her better

Oh what a sweetheart!! Poor thing, having to go through meds before she can roam around.. But she is such a cutie and seems like a great personality too! Very happy for you and your new addition to the family

What a sweet face! She's just a doll. It's too bad about the quarantine, but I guess this will be your chance to get to know her without other animals headbutting you at the same time.

She's lovely! I see you decided to keep the name Hanna. I approve, since that's my middle name.

Sorry to hear she needs meds and quarantine, but at least that time will give all your pets a chance to get accustomed to each other's scents, and might make the intro go more smoothly.

Thanks guys

I think--hope--she's starting to feel a bit better. Her stool is still pretty runny, but she's definitely seeming to have slowed down on production. Down to 1-2 a day rather than 4-5. Hopefully a few more days on the meds and her system will be getting back to normal!

She's sweet, but is starting to get stir crazy I think. She sounds like a herd of elephants running around the spare room during the day, and I think her meowing to get out at night is part of what keeps waking my toddler up! Only nine more days to go...
