I call her every night though! Maybe kitty thinks I should talk to her all day. I wouldn't say no to that once in awhile.

I think there's a marketing opportunity here - a device could be designed so that of a paw print is used to unlock it, it will only enable a specific set of cat-friendly apps it could 'play' with (yes, there are apps designed for cats).

This would be great for larger devices like tablets. Have you guys tried any? There's one with bugs flying around the screen that are squished when the cat swipes at it.

Time to start monitoring the credit card statement for extra online pet store charges made from the iphone...

Curious about apps for cats- wouldn't the screen get scratched up from claws?

My cat has a couple of apps he plays with, and no, he doesn't scratch the screen. He doesn't use his claws.... but I'm sure some would.

Sara, Munch (deaf Domestic Shorthair),
Oliver (hearing Irish Terrier X),
Mouse (deaf and vi Mini Dachshund),
Boo (deaf and vi Mini Dachshund),
Kat (partially deaf, and vi Mini Dachshund)

5 iPad games your cat will love ? USATODAY.com

Apple actually recommends removing plastic covers from the iPad because the covers can get scratched, but their alkali-aluminosilicate glass screen stands up to the claws.
