Ha ha! 8 out of 48 and I guessed most of those . Can't blame me, I'm from Canada . I'm curious, do any of the Americans here know the position of all the provinces and territories in Canada? I'm just curious because I know that I wasn't educated at all on US geography as a child.

The hardest part is getting them to drop in the right place! I still passed, but it was close.

Queen of the Nile -

We were required to learn about Canada in 7th grade social studies. We spent over a month studying the territories and provinces, the cultures, and the maps. Not that I could repeat any of it now...

but don't feel bad. I doubt I could recite half of the state capitals, either, and I used to be a whiz at that!

Our Georgraphy class in my junior year of high school taught this, but there is no way I would remember....its been too long for that one as well!

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't remember even having geography in the 3rd grade. I was still learning how to glue cotton balls on paper bunnies.......

I've always been a geography whiz. Here's a screenshot of me finishing with plenty of time to spare.

I swear, I haven't googled a map here.. but if I remember correctly the provinces are in this order: (West to East)

B.C., Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland/Labrador, Nova Scotia (don't forget Prince Edward Island..)

Ok, now I'll try my luck at Canadian captials:
B.C. = Victoria,
Manitoba = Edmonton
Saskatchewan = Regina
Alberta = Winnipeg
Ontario = Toronto
Quebec = Montreal
No clue about Nova Scotia, Labrador, or P.E. Island...

And the capital of Canada, of course, is Ottawa.

How'd I do? lol
