Some new pet mysteries! The Cat In The Stacks series is about a Mississippi librarian and his fellow detective, a Maine Coon named Diesel!

I've started reading Dog On It by Spencer Quinn. . Bernie and his shepherd, Chet are both war veterans. The entire story is written from Chet's point of view 'Somethin smells funny. I'm gonna go check it out.' 'I like the table. It's like a roof under the roof.' It's funny, but it does get intense. Chet was a bomb-sniffer in Afghanistan. When he and Bernie are in a dangerous situation, Chet goes on the full-tilt boogie. His senses sharpen, he feels alive, he starts getting a hankering for bad guy tartare...

I've got to renew it , it's due today. And I haven't even started Thereby Hangs A Tail

I've just read 'a street cat named Bob', it's a good read, a don't put down book! Also a re-read of 'Angela's Ashes', enjoyed that again .

Looking for something to read.
I've just finished I am Pilgrim, terrible, Red Sparrow, even worse, and An Officer and a Spy, quite good, if anybody is interested in the Dreyfus Affair.

There's a follow up to "Bob" and a kids' version.

I'm a fan of Laurie King's Russell/Holmes series. The latest entry is titled The Murder Of Mary Russell!

One of the best entries is The Moor. Holmes and Russell investigate a new mystery involving the Baskervilles.
