My drawing of Miko for Spacemonkey

Keeping with the same theme used to Stephanie, I have started working on Miko











I haven't quite finishind this one yet, please forgive the colouring of the photo it has again come out rather pink!!!!

oh wow that is excellent.

I'm tempted to ask you to do one of Zeus and Hestia for me, as I really like how you work. But I expect you have a big long list of pictures to do for people now.

hi emma, great pic, i also really like the others you have done. may i ask you a question? what is your technique for fur? i doodle a bit myself but do struggle a little with getting fur to look like, well.....fur! what medium did you use for these?

Hi Vicki,

I use coloured pencils, mainly watercolour ones, at the moment I am using Derwent Start Watercolour and Faber Castell Grip 2001 pencils. The technique I used for the fur is just to start laying the stokes on the pencil in the direction of the fur slowly building up the detail.


The drawing I did of Angie shows this technique in better detail.
