Can you predict a cat-person?

I have a theory (not very tested, tho) that you can tel if someone's a cat or dog person without asking. I notice there's similarities between cat people, and have the idea that cat people are on average
- often a bit arty
- often a bit introverted
- often quirky
- sometimes fickle
...but these are all vague, I just have a general idea of the average cat-person, at least w. celebs, particularly musos.
Famous cat people:
-Damon Albarn (Blur)
-Syd Barrett (Pink Floyd)
-T.S. Elliot
-C.S Lewis
-President Lincoln
-Anne Frank
-Robert DeNiro
-Robert Smith (the Cure)
-John Lennon
-Andy Warhol

Who I'd predict were cat people:
-Thom Yorke (Radiohead) because he's a fairly emotional person, thinks alot, is artistic
-Matt Bellamy (Muse) because he's quite eccentric, artistic, not laid back enough to be a dog person, plays piano (I know, very presumptious of me)
-Bob Dylan because he's outrovertadly an introvert, if you get me. He's the cat type. Although he had a country/folk upbringing, so mightve been brought up in a dog-person family. Has been photographed with cats, if that's anything to go by...
-Keanu Reeves because he's a bit 'hippy-esque'...

I dont know, I seem to know cat-people a bit because theyre usually people I'm drawn to, or something. So, what's your take on my ramblings?

Re: Can you predict a cat-person?

I don't think you can generalize that way...maybe because of the items you listed:

- often a bit arty I wouldn't know art if he came up and kicked me
- often a bit introverted Umm...somewhat, but then again, I talk to strangers frequently...so maybe not
- often quirky I am completely normal...okay...this one is totally true. I am the weirdest person I know.
- sometimes fickle Not at all...Anything or anyone that I commit myself to is a lifelong thing. Totally not fickle.

So...1 out of 4....and with 4 cats (and I just signed up to foster), paw prints covering the side of my car, 400 cat trees, and $$$ spent in vet bills for senior Kitty and FLUTD Kota...I'm definately a cat person.

Winston Churchill was another famous cat person. Definitely a bit arty, also a bit quirky. Fickle? Not sure. Introverted? Didn't seem like it.
