Virunga, a biography on Diane Fossey by Farley Mowat is very good, albeit heartbreaking. Mowat also wrote Never Cry Wolf, a documentary of his time spent living with wolves in the wild. That Quail Robert was cute. And there was some book about a woman who was a large animal vet...maybe it was No Job for a Woman? That was good. Of course, everyone knows the books by James Herriott and the trilogy about Elsa the lion...but never hurts to add them
I'll have to check that out, Chosen by a Horse sounds good! Thanks for the recommendation!
