Is it just a guy thing?

Or do any females also feel that curtains and drapes being sold in single panel packages is really stupid! I can understand having single panels available, in case only one has to be replaced (even though, after a few weeks, the new and old probably wouldn't match)

But single panels only? It gets especially aggravating when you finally find one you like, and it's the only one!! So, you hunt around and find one not as good, but it will be ok; and it's also the only one.

Thats when you come home and put your clawed all to dickens curtains in the wash to put back up and say to heck with it, if anyone mentions it I'll just throw them out of my house

They must be sheer panels. I've seen them too. It doesn't make much sense, does it. Don't give up, Mike! The Jellicles are probably tired of the decor, if they're tearing it up!

The only curtains I've had are ones I made myself I know that's a female thing...but selling them strictly as singles doesn't make much sense either! Why didn't you ask them to reserve that one and order more?

I hate the single panel package!! Even worse is that my windows are all "abnormal" sizes, so I have to special order everything. Kitty claw curtains stay in my house until they fall off the rods (not quite, but close).

My mother used to make curtains from bed sheets. They always looked nice.

I know what you're talking about!!
I hate it! I remember the first time I curtain shopped and I found some I liked and spent around $25 on some lovely curtains, I get home, open them up, and it's only 1 panel!!!!

Buying curtains isn't a guy thing

I'm kidding of course.

It's perfectly logical why they should sell them in singles. If you have an odd number of windows in the room, then you would always have one left over

Ummmmm, but every window takes two panels, right? I've never seen half a window where one panel would work, with one left over from a two-panel set. It's been so long since I've bought curtains or drapes I don't really remember how they were sold.
