London :0

I'm going to London next week for 3 days! I've never been before, hadn't really had the desire, but now I'm really excited

We are gonna go on the river boat to Greenwich, the London eye thingy and see We Will Rock You at the theatre. I can't wait hehehehe.

How exciting. I've been to greenwich and the London Eye (the views are amazing)

Where are you staying? With friends or a hotel?

From Cornwall, it is a school trip though so I will have a group of delightful teenagers with me (and 2 other teachers).

Don't do what some teachers at my old school allowed - taking a group to an international rugby match in London, they went for a brief drink - by the time they emerged the kids had sold their tickets to touts and headed off around the red light area on the proceeds...

I am sure you will have a wonderful time Zal, the weather is lovely down here at the moment - word of advice if you are going on the tube, take a bottle of water or one of those cans of water spray, it can get a bit hot and sticky down there, especially when it's busy!!

I am sure you have your itinerary all planned but here are a few sites you might find useful, they list lots of things to do for free in London (it needn't always cost a fortune). There are lots of museums, parks and so on which you don't have to pay for and some of these have some nice walks to follow:

'a bit hot and sticky'? It can be unbearable! Phew!!! I always take one of those little battery powered fans. Highly recommended!!

Good luck if you take the Northern Line by the way. You'll need it!
