Pics of Mom's new cat!

I succeeded in getting some nice pictures of mom's cat. Still trying to figure out how to adjust the red eye on the camera though.

She still doesn't have a name but Mom has found herself calling her "Punkin" a lot (as in a slang way of saying Pumpkin) and the kids mentioned "Boots" (she has 4 white paws). She's still keeping "Cocoa" in mind, too.

So, without further ado...

Isn't she cute? She really is sweet. She's already found some favorite hangout spots in the house... the bay window by mom's kitchen table, the screen door in the front of the house which has a window almost all the way to the floor, and a perch that Mom has installed in her bedroom which Babes used to sit on a lot.

She's beautiful!

Of course, I'm a little partial to kitties with 4 white boots.

GORGEOUS!! I can't do the red eye or blank eye repair either. I hope one of our graphic geniuses will share their secrets!

She's stunning. She seems to have a regal air about her. I love the name punkin.

I talked to Mom again this morning and the cat has adjusted real well to being with her. She jumps up on Mom's lap while she's in the recliner and even climbs in bed with her.

So, are there any guesses as to what other breed of cat she could be? I'm still baffled with that. I definitely wouldn't think it's Angora because their long-haired. I know that Siamese are crossed with Himalayans a lot but they're also long-haired (I think??).

One of the first things I noticed about her was that she had a black nose surrounded by a perfectly symmetrical white patch on her muzzle. I love it! I've been trying to think of a name to fit that feature but got nothin' so far.
