Graffiti - very cross!!

I am so angry, I got home this evening to find this:

on the side of my house!! I live in a lovely little stereotypical English village and yet as with every where these days there are a group of teenagers running wild! My neighbours saw three of them running away but didn't realise what they had been doing.

I have called the police of course who have taken photos and a statement and despite trying to scrub it off I am making no progress whatsoever.

How on earth do I get this off. I am so upset

That's awful Stephie, I can't understand how kids can be so stupid. I know they probably won't be found...but if they were I'd hand them a toothbrush and make them stay there till the brushed it all off. Grrrrrr!

I googled "remove graffiti from brick" and got a fair amount of returns, you might want to try that.

Oh no! Why would people do that?

I hope you are able to get it cleaned off.

Uch! Disgusting!
Unfortunately, I've had quite a bit of graffiti removal experience over the years. Thankfully, it's subsided in recent years.
Goof-off is the ticket! It's taken off any graffiti I've ever had. Also, gum, wax and glue! There's also a product called goo-be-gone which is okay but not as good. Wear heavy rubber gloves!

with any luck a pressure washer could remove it too....depending if your house was done recently. if not hopefuly enough dirty has built up on the bricks that the paint is mostly just on the grime and the pressure washer will remove both

What a shame! I know your house is new, and I'll never understand the mentality that would do such a thing. I hope they get caught.

I think you'd have to be very careful with a pressure washer. Don't want any mortar to come out!

This is terrible. I'm sorry that this happened to your house.

Ugh, I hate graffiti! My neighbours had the side of their house graffitied by some boys one night, and they had to call someone special in to get it off. It was a very noisy process but it did get it all off!

We use acid, leave it on for about 10 mins or so, and then use a pressure washer, usually does a good job. You will of course have to stay there all the time the acid is on.
