Tribute to my late cousin

I would like to post a tribute to my dear cousin Linda, who finally lost her battle with cancer on 21 May 2008.
Among her many endearing qualities was the fact that she was a great cat -lover, and I think it's most fitting to remember that on this forum.

Her family always had a dog when she was a kid. She loved the family dog, but as soon as she had a place of her own she got 2 little kittens. They were (unusually) ginger females and they were the fluffiest cats I have EVER seen. Even fluffier than our Jimmy.
They grew into 2 huge fluffballs (her husband called them 'the monsters').They both had enourmous furry 'trousers' and long feathery tails.

Well, Holly and Poppy both lived to a good age. Then she took in a little stray cat, but he only stayed with them a couple of years before he wandered off again.

Then last year they got 2 sweet tabby and white kittens (brother and sister) - now very important and grown up cats. How they will miss her!

I saw her only last Saturday, and although she was clearly very ill she was up and dressed and chatting away. I can't believe she is now gone.
I am keeping Linda and her husband and son constantly in my thoughts.

God bless, Shelley. You have my sympathy. We never know qute what to say when someone has had such a loss, but I hope you know we care. I'm glad she had a good day when you visited. I'm sure she is with God now where there is no pain or sadness.
