I had an ear infection a while ago.... I know your pain.
There are some insanely easy remedies, so go see your GP. He should be able to give you a spray, which is just perfect to use.

Sorry it hurts. You might want to try a decongestant just in case there is fluid in the tubes causing the pain.

I recommend you ignore Leazie (meant in the nicest possible way of course). Putting random crap in your ears can make the problem 10 times worse.

Go see an expert.

A decongestant is a type of oral medication.

My husband and I have battled allergies that turned into viral infections now for over a month. We can's seem to shake it. The hubster is dealing with earaches right now. He's on prescript meds but it's not working fast enough.

I read this somewhere - maybe it might bring you a little relief... Sometimes I take my (hair) blow dryer ON LOW and sort of direct it towards his ear - NOT INCHES AWAY mind you - but in that general direction. The warmth seems to help a little.

If you're not on doctor prescribed meds, try some tylenol. If you have a fever it will relieve that as well. Please take care of it - you don't want permanent damage!!

If your ear kind of itches, and you feel sore down toward your jawline - you have fluid built up in there - and you really should see a doctor.

Be well SOON!

I'm sorry you're feeling under the weather, Allie. I hope you find a remedy and feel better soon.
Meanwhile, here's a little something to make you smile.

Hugh, Leazie is a medical professional. She is a nurse.

Allie, I'm so sorry you're in pain. I imagine your doctor will prescribe an antibiotic. I hope you get well soon.
