Ask me tomorrow. We're still in front of the system. The wind has been blowing like crazy and the storms aren't even here yet. My neighbor's tree is pretty close to my house. It's a big tree and he says he thinks there's a crack in it. I hear it squeaking when the wind blows. That tree worries me......

I think I'm located too far north and west of the worst stuff although we had quite a bit of rain overnight and it's windy now. Supposed to be in the mid 70s and sunny tomorrow so the bad stuff must not be around here.

Edited to say that according to national radar all the bad stuff is east of here. Hope everything is going okay with everyone in the path of the storms.

Today has been a bit crazy here. It has been windy all day and then alternating cloudy, pouring buckets and then sunny as can be. This morning I came out of my room and it was sunny. I took a quick shower and when I came out it was dumping rain. The cycle repeated several times today. We luckily are north of the Milwaukee area where the severe storms are supposed to hit later. I think I heard that south of Milwaukee there was a tornado on the ground earlier. It is crazy humid but I think a front is supposed to push through later this evening and the humidity will go away. YAY! I hate humidity!

OMG! I'm so sorry to any midwesterners who have been effected by flooding. I rarely ever watch the news so I didn't realize the situation was as dire as it is until I called my friend's house tonight.

My best friend's mom lives in Terre Haute, Indiana, and her apartment has been flooded out. She lost everything. My friend, her brother and their aunt have all gone to Indiana to be with her mother to help her get established in a new place. In speaking with my friend's husband tonight, it sounds like just about everything she owned is lost!

My thoughts and prayers go out to flood victims.

I truly feel for everyone in the path of this crazy weather. It's simply heartbreaking. Our southwest WI counties are getting hit again this year with so much rain, it's unreal! Some areas getting 8"-10" in two days, with more on the way. They showed houses actually falling into rivers today on the news!

I just hope that everyone is ok.
