Waterpark Pics

My husband and I went to a waterpark for our anniversary. We've been married 4 years as of June 5.

Here's us:

He got some good pics of me on their simulated wave ride. It shoots out water over a foam surface so it's like a wave you can body board on. We've gotten pretty decent at it.

Jumping on:

On my stomach:

On my knees:

Wiping out:

I've got video too.

It's harder than it looks. For comparison purposes, this is what happens to 90% of people that get on there.

Seems funny. We have Waterparks nearby. I think I have to look for my swimsuit.

Congratulation!

On our 4. anniversary my husband gave me as a gift red roses and a new pair of rubber gloves...

Mutzi, it is supposed to be a German word meaning slippery road. Is it? The part of Texas that the original park is located in was settled by German immigrants.

The one on the north side of San Antonio is supposed to be the best waterpark in the world. It was built next to the Comal River, a favorite spot for innertube floating (watch the drunk colege kids float by with their coolers full of beer). Huge trees, lots of water tube rides. The park is in two sections - you have to ride a bus to get from one area to another.
Worth the visit.

Yes, it´s right. Snow, ice, water, oil... all slippery ways, where you can slide.

This was the one in Galveston.

Normally we go to the original one in New Braunfels, but Galveston is closer and didn't require a hotel stay, so we went there this year.

It's smaller, not quite as impressive, but still fun.

The price is not bad either considering they let you bring in your own food.

Those are neat pics! I've never seen one of those wave simulators before.

Oh that sounds like fun, Shannon! Right now, it makes me want to grab one of my bathing suits out of the closet and head to the waterpark!!

The problem is the main waterpark where I used to hang out closed a couple years ago. The closest one is about 45 minutes away and is way too crowded. But if I go there, I may as well go to my friend's pool for free. She lives just 5 minutes from that waterpark.
