Windshield Wiper Sprayer Doesn't Work

My windshield wiper sprayer doesn't work. The wipers move back & forth but the wiper fluid is full & doesn't spray out. Only on the front wipers though. Is this something I can get my bf to fix or will I have to take it into the shop

make sure the tube going from the windshield wiper fluid container is still running up to the little male end you connect it to for it to spray onto your windshield. it may have disconnected at either end, from the firewall or the container. its only a little rubber tube

You could also try to flush the sprayer doohickies to see if there is something stuck in them.

try all of the above and worst case scenario is that the pump is bad, depending on make/model, easily replaced fairly cheap.

another thing to consider is that the switch itself has flaked out, this is common these days because it is usually on the column/turnsignal thingy. Particularly if you have tilt steering. A little contact cleaner there can do a lot of good.

I have tilt steering and never move the wheel just for this reason.
