God It Hurts So Much...

I miss my Daisy so much...It's so hard. Ever since she died, it's been so hard to enjoy just being in my room. The first few days I couldn't even sleep in there. I took all my figurines down. I even had some posters up I took down. I just have no feeling to have any of those things up. I wanted to re-do my room, but I just have no feeling to do that. I know Daisy wouldn't want that, but it's hard. This hurt...It feels like it's never going to go away. I just want nothing in my room. I miss going to sleep listening to the sound of her on her wheel, or drinking from her water bottle.

It's hard...

It IS hard to lose our pets.
I remember when Inky died 13 years ago. We had just got The Trio and they were about 9-10wks old and we'd only had them a short time. I remember looking at them with tears in my eyes and thinking I'd trade every one of them to have Inky back.
It is a normal thing to feel this way when you are grieving.
After time passed, I grew attached to The Trio and eventually the pain of losing Inky grew less desperate and I was able to remember him with love and smiles. It will happen for you, too. Just give it time.
Know that while you had the pet, it was loved and cared for with the best of your abilities. That is the BEST thing we can do for our pets. It is hard to lose them, but I'd rather love them and lose them than never know that kind of joy in sharing my life with an animal.

It must be very hard for you Megan. I am sure that the pain will ease over time.

Megan, I'm so sorry you are going through such a sad time, and missing your little loved pet so badly. It's very difficult to lose them when we get so attached! Hang in there, it will get easier. Hugs!

Hey there Girlie........

Wash that cage up....disinfect it.....

Put your thoughts towards a new hammie!

Hamsters have a short life span....so dont feel guilty if
you want a new one!
