I saw this as a headline on AOL news today. What does everybody here think? I also saw a picture of a 44 lb. cat found in New Jersey!

I saw this morning on a news show. It seems a little creepy to be to clone anything, but I guess if you have 50-100k laying around you could do it.

They may LOOK the same, but it won't BE the same. Though those dogs are genetically identical, they are NOT booger, the dog that saved her life, and they never will be. Sadly, they are also not likely to live very long, if you look at the track record on these cloned animals. Its a couple of years tops.

I agree. I hope this technology leads to restored hearts, livers, etc., so that those on the waiting list will not die, waiting for a transplant.

Yeah, because the world needs more Pit Bulls???

Maybe she should work in a shelter for a couple days and watch them put down litter after litter of pit bull puppies that look just like those in the pictures? I don't even have words for what I feel about this.

She's supposedly keeping three of the five and "donating" the other two to a service dog company? I want to know which company is dying for pit bull puppies to be donated, because I'll run down to the shelter tomorrow and pick up a few to donate them myself.
