Re: Suddenly paralyzed, Rufus doggedly learns to walk again

I have a friend whose Old English Sheepdog lost some movement in her back legs. They did surgery on her spine at CSU.
Her rehab was at Alameda East - Emergency Vets on the Animal Planet network. She had therapy twice a day in the water treadmill tank and the big pool. They have video cameras so you can watch it - and we got the password so we could even watch her in her kennel. A huge number of us cheering her on.

The vet surgical group in Dallas has a physical therapist on site for their patients. This is a new profession - very cool what they can do now.
