It was mildly entertaining, but not in the same league as the earlier films. I was disappointed.

Re: How was the 4th INDIANA JONES? (before I rent it)

I thought it was strikingly like the earlier films. Campy, silly, lots of action and effects.

I didn't think it was any worse than we would find the original Indiana Jones flicks, were we to see them today, without all the nostalgia.

That said, it wasn't great, but it was an entertaining way to spend the afternoon.

I respect your opinions, but I can't imagine not enjoying a Harrison Ford movie!

It's not as good as the others, but ok. Worth at least a rental.

Certainly not a great movie, but well worth a rental.

Re: How was the 4th INDIANA JONES? (before I rent it)

I was entertained by it, so IMO, it was good. It certainly isn't as "blockbuster" as the previous movies, but the action was continuous and the storyline continued to move forward though it did seem predictable. It retained its' fun, campy style with the action sequences and one-liners, but I felt that only added to its' charm.

We thought it was so horrible, hubby and I didn't finish watching it. It was actually painful watching Harrison Ford act (?) in this one. (And I LOVE Harrison Ford!)

Thumbs down
