We are getting some nasty weather here in Aus...

What's going on? First, there's a drought; then there are fires that are several times worse than they've been in previous years (because of the drought); there's flooding up in Queensland; then there's flooding in northern NSW; then there's an earthquake in Victoria; and now there's a cyclone approaching Queensland!

May I suggest prayer, and a very solidly built storm shelter?
I wonder if the northern hemisphere is going to get it next. Hurricane season is starting in a couple of months.

Seriously though, prayers going out for you all in Oz, Silver.

Thanks, John.

I'm in no danger (from the cyclone at least); just, with everything happening at once it seems a little crazy!

That's enough bad weather! Mother Nature is more than a bit psychotic! I'm so sorry. Enough is enough.

That's terrible that you country has not been able to get a break. Prayers for all of the people in the path of the cyclone.

4.6 according to the early news reports. That's big enough to be a little scary.

Re: We are getting some nasty weather here in Aus...

Thanks for the advice, Marie!

It's probably little in comparison to the earthquakes elsewhere in the world - it's just strange because we don't generally get earthquakes or tremors down here! And to get two in two weeks... we're not even on a fault line! Luckily they don't seem big enough to be causing any major damage. It just seems crazy, having all these tremors, fires, floods and cyclones...

And lol, I should tell my neighbours you said that - I looked out the window and the first thing some of my neighbours did was run outside...
