what would you name a cat rescue?

if you could start your own non-profit rescue group what would you name it? my husband and i have been playing around with things like: lucky paws, fortunate felines, purrin-n-paradise, some other pretty cheesy things lol. it should be catchy and easy to remember and draw attention to itself i think. my husband first said paradise found but it makes me think of a travel agency my first thought was desi's house of hope, but i really don't like that! (desi was our first cat together, and my first one ever) anyway i won't use anything that i don't have explicit permission to use as ideas belong to those who think them but some creativity might help my brain work a bit better normally i can come up with all sorts of fun rhymey things but not today! everything i say today sounds terrible or cheesy lol. or maybe not even actual full names but some fun catchy words that go along with or describe cats? does that make sense at all? i hope so but i'm not sure...if nothing else it could be fun

Desi's House of Hope and Lucky Paws are two really great ones, IMO.

My first pet that had fur was my cockapoo (cocker spaniel and poodle), Gigi. I'd have to have her name in the name of the rescue...even though she was a dog. Gigi taught me a lot about pets and even though it's been almost 28 years since she's gone to the Bridge at the age of seven, I still miss her little mop-looking little self.

Re: what would you name a cat rescue?

We have a small local rescue named Kitty Angels, I've always liked that name.

Sorry. Got the silly gene today.

Um, probably would name it after the cat I loved most- Pandora. I'd probably only get involved into cat rescue, though. Don't know enough about Dogs- and there's so much to do that you can spend a life time taking care of cats alone.

I'd probably open up a shelter specifically for FIV or leukaemia cats or for older feline citicens and take in cats from other shelters- that could then be named grey paws

A lot of shelters are named after Franz von Asissi- so I wouldn't use that- too likely to get confused with other shelters.
