Homemade choccies! Healthy too (apparently)

Flatmate and I went to a chocolate festival today. Now, I don't have chocolate too often ... I don't have that much of a sweet tooth ... but I do like it and I thought it might be interesting to taste the 'luxury' chocolate you know you are going to see at these events and there was also a stall giving demonstrations on how to make chocolate and truffles.

Of course it was a sales pitch for a chocolate making kit, but who cares. I still found it interesting and, of course, had to buy a wee kit.

I got homemade dark chocolate in my fridge right now .... anyone want some? Apparently its a healthy alternative to conventional chocolate .. maybe its the solution chocoholics around the world have been waiting for!

Dark chocolate is better for you than milk chocolate. Of course chocolate is an important food group, so in my mind it is all good for you. Have fun with your kit.

O.K., well back the the chocolate...
How does it taste and is it still good for you if you eat the whole batch. Or two batches?

Milk chocolate tastes better than dark bitter chocolate

All dark chocolates aren't bitter.

Just the ones that have been sampled and put back in the box.

I dont think i mixed it quite right as some of it is a lot sweeter than other bits. But it still tastes good. I'm going to try to make truffles next.

I also think the whole batch would be very good for you. All those anti-oxidants.

I thought it was in the instructions that you must eat the entire batch within 1 hour . You mean you are allowed to have left overs?

Huge... Registry is ok with me. I've already had one shotgun wedding.
