Scruffy or Clean Shaven Men?

I really dislike the scruffy look! It seems to be the "in" thing. Guys that you know are good looking look unkempt. And think of how those unshaven whiskers would feel on a girl's cheek! What do you think? Men and women, please give your opinion.

Nothing wrong with a cleanly shaven guy but for whatever reason the scruffy look really does it in for me. I really don't mind the feel of those whiskers on me either.

I'm the opposite! My husband had to be coaxed to shave when he worked for himself. And I hated the scratchy feel. An electric shaver helped, but when he began to work for a dealership, he shaved every day.

A smooth face and a white shirt and tie.....mmmmm, nice!

Depends on the guy....some look really hot, others just look dirty. But I'm not too fond of it in close encounters.

Re: Scruffy or Clean Shaven Men?

Do you mean handlebar whiskers or muttonchop whiskers?

When I met my husband, he wore a mustache like Lech Walesa. I cut the ends and he looked better. In winter he wore full beard! His mother loved him for that...
When my son was born, my husband had to make a decision: beard or not - that was the question. My little son helped a little bit. He clung into daddies beard, so my husband had to shave. But my son didnīt recognized his daddy. He startet to cry - and so my husband wore a scruffy "3-days-beard". My fingernails were very clean at this time, cause I fingered his beard.

Now his facial hair is a little bit gray, so he shaves it every second day - just before he starts to look like a tramp. This is nice. I love it! And his mother? "Boy, you look so lovely with youre beard, please, let grow a beard!" Okay, why not looking like Santa?

Re: Scruffy or Clean Shaven Men?

My husband has a beard and mustache, which looks nice on him. When he is clean shaven he looks like he is 12. I'll take him any way I can get him .

I don't like the 3 day scruffy look, tho. It looks messy to me.
