Talking Cat themed wedding

I'm getting married in 2 months at a zoo, next to a white Lion enclosure (seriously cat mad!!) and I want my reception to be cat themed. I'm going to have cat food bowls on the tables with sweets in, but was wondering if any one has any ideas of cat themed things?

I'm having a kids table, so might do a 'pin the tail on the lion' or something.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

When I got married a couple years ago, we joked about how we wanted Murphy to be the ring bearer. To get him to walk down the aisle in formation, we said we would just shine the laser pointer there and let him follow it. Can't you just picture it?

So how about laser pointers at each table? It could give you some interesting visual effects.

Ha, yeah. That would be so funny!! I wish I could take my cats, but they'd be an easy snack for their wild cousins!!

I like the laser pointer idea. Now I've got all kinds of crazy cat toy ideas running through my head!!

You could always put the "big" cats names with a little tidbit about each cat on the tables, and then have a list out front so as guests walk in telling them which table they are sitting at. Ex: Puma: also known as Mountain lion, Cougar, etc.
It might be a bit of work, depending on how many tables you might have. How about if your guests wish to dance with the bride or the groom, they make a donation to your local humane society to help out with the cats there?
Just a couple of thoughts.

I'd love to see the faces of the ladies who find out they're seated at the Cougar table!!!!
