What are Your Wishes for the Next 10 years?

I didn't want to call this a bucket list; that's too morbid. We all have dreams. What are yours?....reasonable or not?

In no particular order:

I want to go to the UK to see my cousins, of course!

I'd love to go to Yosemite National Park.

California was great; I'd like to take another trip, a month long this time! I'll just bug Marie for a month!

I've always wanted to see the Redwood Forest.

Ever since Latin class, I've wanted to see the Colloseum!

I'd like to see another few of my private music students become music majors!

I'd like to teach English again.

I'd like to go to the Holy Land, especially the Garden of Gethsemane.

I'd like to have a family reunion, but we're scattered from Connecticut to California!

It would be great to live long enough to have great grandchildren! I love babies. Since this can be unreasonable, I'd like to have a few more babies.

I'd like to get another Siamese or Balinese
cat...and a tuxedo cat! So pretty!

I'd like to have several collies again, and have Kelsey forget her past and come completely out of her shell. (She spent six years in a cage at a puppy mill, and is still shy.)

I've always wanted to have formal rose gardens and a tennis court!

I'd like to have a in ground swimming pool for the little ones!

I want to fulfill my potential, whatever it is.

I want to become a better Christian.

I'd like better TV programming!

I'd like to have a pass to the Pgh. Symphony and Opera.

Whoops! I wrote a book! Well, I love to write, but this isn't what I had in mind! Writing is one of my hobbies, so I'd really like to write a book.

After the last two years of losing so much in my life, I don't want a lot.

I'd like to not say goodbye to another kitty, which I don't think is asking too much. They'll only be about 13-14 years old in 10 years.

I'd like to stay steadily employed, with health insurance.

I'd like to move into a nicer place in a better neighborhood (which shouldn't be too hard).

On a lighter note, I'd like to visit Australia.

And I know there's a circle of life thing and all, but would it be so bad if every flea just died? Tonight?

LOL! Marie! About the fleas! I'm totally with you!

I would like for my Mother to be healthy and mobile again.
I would like to be in a career that I love and that can pay my bills without the stress every month.
I would like for my brother to find God.
I will have to get a new car at some point in the next ten years.
To get to keep Moxie whole and well for the next ten years. Not likely as she wouldbe 21 years old, but then it can be unreasonable.
I would also like to not say goodbye to another kitty for the next ten years. Its possible! They would be 10 and 13 years old by then.
I would like to visit Africa on a humanitarian visit.
I would like to visit my friends in the UK
I would like to move to the northeast. Massachusettes, or New York, or Maine?
Since we are dreaming, I'd like a house with a yard, and a couple of rescue dogs.
I'd like to rescue another rabbit. I love bunnies!
I'd like to lose a significant amount of weight and be active and healthy.
I'd like to be a better person each day than I was the last.

I'd like to be able to move out from my parents house (although I like living here, I'd like my own independence)..
I'd like to go back to America (could still happen - some delays atm due to unforeseen issues)
I'd like to meet a woman who'd be willing to be my wife (without any kind of medication).
I'd like to go to Le Mans to see the 24 hour race.
I'd like to go to Indianapolis.

I'd like to land in the same country as my boyfriend, permanently. Maybe get married again, 'cause I'm just the marryin' type.

I'd like to move on to another job, one that suits me better, and know that my family's company is still taken care of.

I'd like to have the fortitude to NOT get another cat right away, give myself a rest and maybe the opportunity to travel, or live somewhere very fancy. (My girls must be about 7 and 9 years old. Hard to say how long they'll be around.)

I'd like to finally be down to my goal weight. Never have been, not in my adult life. I hope I stick with the gym long enough to see it over these years.

I'd like to have a family of my own, with children I gave birth to.

I'd like to sing on stage again, just a few times, to remember how wonderful it was.

And now that I'm all sentimental, I need to get to the gym before I start wallowing. Great thread!

My biggest hope is that my hubby is able to take an early retirement in about 9 years.

I want to have a vacation. Just go somewhere over night with my hubby. We haven't been able to do that since 2003 due to the animals. In ten years our oldest dog will most likely be gone (he's 11 now), the other dog will be 14, the furry kids about 13-19.

I want to update my kitchen. Nothing too wild, just countertops, backsplash, new floor. Maybe new cabinets.

I'd love to be healthy enough to have a part time job. Just something so that I could feel like a functioning member of society.

Some new furniture in the living room would be nice

I would like to know that my children are financially stable and have careers doing what they love to do.

I would like for my parents to come back to life and see what wonderful young men my boys have turned into.

I would be pretty happy if I didn't have to say goodbye to any of my cats for a long, long time. And would it be too much to ask that they feel well for their whole lives also?

I would like to be able to hike for miles again without my pesky painful hip messing it all up.

I would like to see a cure for diabetes and a full reversal of all the nasty things that disease does to the body.

I would like for my son's upcoming marriage to be a long and happy one.

Well, maybe I have asked for the world plus, but all of it would be so wonderful!

Sue

"I would like to see a cure for diabetes" There may be hope here sooner than you think. Some very encouraging research is being done atm.

They're still a way off bringing people back from the dead though.

Oh, I didn't realize we were supposed to stick with reality here. Oops!

I don't think we're "supposed" to stick to anything
