Smile New Camera

My old Kodak has been performing horribly so I decided to purchase a new camera. Did some research and decided a Canon SD1300 IS suited my needs and budget best. I wanted something easy that could take decent close ups. Today I have just been playing and experimenting, but so far it is extremely easy and I am very happy with the pictures! Here are a few examples:

I will never be a pro but these are so much nicer then the grainy pictures the Kodak was taking!

Wow, Sue! Those are beautiful pictures! A couple of adorable subjects don't hurt, either.

They are so beautiful! And...two subjects I love a rose and two kitties. SIgh.....

My daughter has a good camera too. She took.....believe it or not, 1500 (!) pictures on her vacation to Acadia Park.

Those pictures are fabulous! The detail in the close-ups is great. I have been looking for a new camera that's easy to work with. I might give the Canon a try. Thanks for the tip.

Wow! I loved the moisture glistening on the rose and the whiskers and fur were so clear in the kitty pics. Great buy!

That is very very impressive for the price and size. I googled it expecting to see a 400 quid DSLR or something.

For a 100 quid compact, that is mighty impressive.

I was very happy with the price. I purchased it on line for $199.00. That included the camera and charger, battery, cords and software that come with the camera and an accessory kit that included two backup batteries, an 8gig memory card, camera case, tripod, memory card holder, and extra protective sheets to go over the viewer. The same deal here at Best Buy was $227.00.
