This is a first. Cat vaccum video

"This is a video showing us vacuum cleaning our cat. She is huge and totally deaf from birth. She's almost 14 years... The vacuum itself is on the lowest mode, just enough to get the loose hairs off, so no animal was harmed during the making of this vid "

The last time people tried to elimate free roaming cats it resulted in The Black Plague.

Kitty seems to be enjoying herself. Of course, we can't clean our hearing cats like that! The noise would terrify them.

She seems very happy. I sure wish I could vacuum my cats! Ray has such soft cottony fir and it's always flying around and getting on my face.

The guy who owns the shop where I bought my vacuum cleaner really does vacuum his cat. There's a very light setting for delicate curtains.

Not delicate enough for my girls.

...my parents do vacuum their cat. The dog loves it, and obviously if the DOG loves it it MUST be worth trying. Right?

At least that's the look on his face whenever Missy (dog) gets something and Patch (cat) doesn't.

One of the cats at the shelter I volunteer at LOVED to be vacuumed with the hose attachment. He's not deaf... just weird? LOL We'd give him half a dozen little mohawks by sucking up his hair with the hose - after he would follow us around when we were cleaning, and finally gave him attention!

Had a video, but it's not still up, though, as it was part of his Petfinder profile and he got adopted last month.
New owner says he's terrified of the vacuum... but that's an upright vacuum, and we had one of those tank/shop vacs...must be a difference in pitch, or something?

Ha - looks like she loves it! My Tuffy is terrified of the vacuum cleaner.
