Break Time

After this long, cold Winter up here in Minnesota, they deserve a break.

I bet they are thrilled that spring is here.

Wonderful picture! I often see deer where I am, but I haven't seen them so far this year...hopefully soon.

Very nice picture! I love the colors... they look a fair bit different from the deer around here, here's a picture of a deer from our cabin in the Gulf Islands...

They look so comfy in the sun!

We've had deer coming and going like crazy, but our twins from last summer are still here. So are the deer ticks! Had one last weekend, after my one and only woods walk for the year. There's just way to many the last couple years! The neighbor got Lyme disease last year, and that's enough to make me stay out of the woods. Have been lucky so far, have only had them crawling, and none of them stuck.

Adorable picture! You're right, they deserve it, the kitties deserve it, and YOU deserve it.

If I'm not mistaken, top are whitetail deer, bottom is mule deer, thats why they look different ^^

You made me curious and I looked into it, the black tailed deer didn't quite look like the deer I'm used to, but I found out it's white tailed deer, a subspecies of the black one.
