look what was on the patio door!

It's a walking stick. I haven't seen one of these around in a long time. The cats obviously were fascinated.

I love praying Mantis. I think they are the most gorgeous and fascinating insects.

Bugs are great toys!

Zazzle was so busy with a grasshopper today, that she didn't even notice I was at the feeding station. I actually filled both bowls (not even trying to be quiet about it, either), before she looked up and realized I was less than 5 feet away. A'course then she took off into the woods like her tail was on fire >_<
I wish eventually she'd realize I'm not a threat.

Cool! They are such neat bugs! We've had katydids on our patio every night this summer, and every once in a while a tree frog shows up.

we've got a good crop of quarter sized toads hopping around, smokey must have tried one once in his life, looks at them closely and then leaves them alone, he did fall into the patio pond over the weekend pouncing a bullfrog. everything wet but the ears!!!

yeti cat: two toes short of the record books
eons ago there must had been a creature with a roar
like a vacuum cleaner, it most likely ate cats.

What cat dosent like bug hunting? It grosses me out when mine eat flies. Yuck.....dont do it! Next thing you know, no more fly.
