Weird things you've done to....

Get the last dregs of something out of a container.

Tonight I decided my bottle of hand lotion was going to give up the last of what it was holding back from me. I threw it in the microwave for 20 seconds so it was more liquidy, poured it into a plastic bag, cut off the end and squirted it into my small purse container. Stupid I know, but I am so happy it worked lol. I hate throwing that bit out, it's almost 1/4 of the container, and at $20 a bottle it's a real waste of money.

Any other weird/silly remedies out there?

I usually resort to putting the container upside down and wait for the darn stuff to pool enough for me to get it out. If possible, I try to cut the container open to get at it. Or if it's like shampoo, then I put a bit of water in there to make it come out.

That's what I do too, I also do this with cooking oil, syrup and ketchup.

definitely nothing wrong with that. count me in. i also do the upside thing esp with ketchup bottles and shampoos.

i cut my toothpaste tubes in half (just when you cant squeeze anymore)....you'd be amazed how much you can scrap out. i can get at least 3-4 toothbrushing sessions by doing this.

I buy a 'tube ' of hair cream to help keep the frizz down. When its not coming out anymore, I cut the tube and scrape out what I need each day. Lasts atleast another week!
