It's the dressing, the biscuits, the pie, the cheese and sausage, the mashed taters, the..............ya, you get the picture!

I voted other 'cause ...it's everything. I have to have turkey, I have to have cranberry sauce (the nasty jellied stuff most people don't like), I have to have mashed taters, I have to have green beans with french fried onions(not the casserole thing though), I have to have candied yams, I have to have my coconut custard pie, and I have to have stuffing. Doesn't matter who I celebrate with or where I go...I want my full dinner!

I just put my little (6lb) turkey breast in the oven and in a few hours I'll make everything else. I purposely left most of the kitchen unpacked so I could make my big meal and this year I got giant divided plates and large zipock bags to freeze all those leftovers so I'll be eating it for at least a week.

I'm actually not a huge fan of turkey, so I vote other. Potatoes and corn I eat all the time, stuffing several times a year, but pumpkin pie is generally only Thanksgiving, so that's what I'd call my favorite.

My son's gravy is the best. Altho, the sweet potato casserole was very good this year.

My favorite parts of the the Thanksgiving meal are the dressing and asparagus casserole (my mom also made a killer squash casserole this year!) For leftovers, I LOVE turkey sandwiches with tons of black pepper Yum...I get one tomorrow after we chop down our Christmas trees!

Although We've already done Thanksgiving a while ago (all of you Americans are late! lol) my favorite part is mashed potatos. I would eat them everyday if I could...YUM!

Librarychick, you'd love my mashed potatoes. They're made from scratch with real potatoes. No instant mashed potatoes for me!

Eww, I don't like instant mashed taters either. Mine are nice and unhealthy with real butter, real potatoes, real cream and sour cream added for a bit of tang. I guess it's no wonder I only eat them a few times a year.

I may have changed my mind. The dinner part was great but the sandwich I had today for lunch with cranberry sauce spread on bread, leftover turkey, swiss cheese and some leftover stuffing (warmed) was pretty darn good!

That's my recipe, except for the sour cream. How does it taste with sour cream?
